About
Welcome to Kokuio, where Caribbean spirit, Taino heritage, and eco-friendly living come together. We’re more than just an online store, we’re a celebration of culture, community, and conscious living, rooted in the heartbeat of Jamaica.
Kokuio was created with one clear purpose: to share beautifully crafted, sustainable products inspired by Jamaican and wider Caribbean aesthetics, while uplifting the traditions and stories that shaped us. Every item in our store honors the rich cultural legacy of Taino, African, and other diaspora cultures that come together to form the Jamaican people.
In proud association with The Yukayeke Yamaye Kokuio Tribal Organization, our mission goes beyond creativity. We strive to preserve and revitalize Taino cultural heritage, empower communities, and advocate for sustainable development and human rights throughout Jamaica, the Caribbean, and the Diaspora.
At Kokuio, giving back is at the heart of everything we do. Fifty percent of all product profits support hurricane relief efforts and community development projects, ensuring that every purchase helps strengthen and uplift the people who inspire our work.
We also believe in the power of creativity and collaboration. That’s why we joyfully welcome Taino and Caribbean artists to join our store and showcase their prints and artwork to the world. Kokuio is a space for cultural expression, shared roots, and collective growth.
Thank you for supporting a movement that’s nurturing the past, uplifting the present, and planting seeds for a brighter, more sustainable future.
Walk good, and welcome to the Kokuio family.
